Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation lasts 2 years and includes students in grades 7-8 of primary school. The preparation program includes school catechesis, formation meetings in the parish, and active participation in the liturgical life of the community.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered by the diocesan Bishop. The date of confirmation is arranged with the diocesan Curia.

- Choice of confirmation sponsor (practicing Catholic, confirmed)
- Choice of confirmation name (name of a patron saint)
