Terms of service
Effective date: 26 April 2026
§ 1. General provisions
- These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the rules for using the website at wetlina.bernardyni.pl (the "Service") and the rights and obligations of the Provider and Users.
- The Provider and owner of the Service is the Bernardine Monastery in Wetlina - Roman Catholic Parish of Divine Mercy, Wetlina 40a, 38-608 Wetlina, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland (the "Provider" or "Administrator").
- The Terms are based on:
- Article 8(1)(1) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services (the "EUSA");
- Articles 384(1) and 384¹ of the Polish Civil Code of 23 April 1964;
- GDPR and the KEP Decree - for personal data protection.

§ 2. Definitions
- Service - the website at wetlina.bernardyni.pl together with all sub-pages;
- User - any natural person, legal person or unincorporated organisational unit using the Service;
- Electronic Service - a service provided by electronic means by the Provider via the Service, within the meaning of Article 2(4) EUSA;
- Content - any text, graphics, audio, audiovisual and software materials made available in the Service by the Provider or Users;
- Privacy Policy - the document available at /en/privacy;
- Cookies Policy - the document available at /en/cookies.
§ 3. Types and scope of electronic services
- Through the Service the Provider provides, free of charge, the following electronic services:
- Provision of informational content - including liturgy, sacraments, parish announcements, mass intentions, pastoral and cultural activity of the Parish;
- Contact form - for sending electronic messages to the Provider;
- Newsletter - distribution of information on new content and events to a User-provided e-mail address;
- Push notifications (PWA) - browser notifications, subject to the User's consent;
- Photo gallery and other multimedia content related to Parish activity.
- Use of the Service is voluntary and does not require registration or login, except for access to the administration panel.
§ 4. Technical requirements
- Proper use of the Service requires:
- a terminal device with Internet access;
- a browser supporting HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (recommended: current Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Microsoft Edge);
- an active e-mail account - for the contact form and newsletter;
- cookies enabled - at least for cookies necessary for Service functioning.
- The Provider is not liable for Service disruptions caused by the User's technical issues or force majeure.
§ 5. Rules of use
- The User shall use the Service in accordance with applicable law, these Terms, good morals and respect for third-party rights.
- The User must not provide unlawful content (Article 8(3)(2)(b) EUSA), in particular content:
- infringing personal rights or third-party copyrights;
- offensive, vulgar, promoting violence, discrimination or hatred;
- offending religious feelings;
- containing malware, exploit code or aiming to disrupt the Service.
- The Provider may remove content violating the Terms or law and block access for Users in breach of the Terms.
§ 6. Copyright and licensing
- All content in the Service, including text, photographs, graphics and the Service's layout, is protected by copyrights of the Provider or licensors and is subject to the Polish Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights.
- Use of Service content beyond personal fair use (Article 23 of the Copyright Act) requires the Provider's prior written consent.
- Quotation is permitted within the limits of Article 29 of the Copyright Act, provided the source and author are cited.
§ 7. Provider's liability
- The Provider takes care that information published in the Service is current, accurate and compliant with canon and statutory law.
- The Provider is not liable for:
- content posted by Users (comments, contact submissions);
- content provided by external entities (external links, embedded maps);
- Service interruptions due to maintenance, hosting infrastructure failures or force majeure;
- damage caused by use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
- Section 2 does not exclude or limit the Provider's liability towards a User who is a consumer to the extent such exclusion or limitation is impermissible under mandatory law.
§ 8. Complaints
- The User may submit complaints regarding the Service or electronic services provided.
- The complaint should contain identifying data, a description of the issue and the expected resolution. It may be submitted:

- by post: Wetlina 40a, 38-608 Wetlina, Poland, marked "Complaint".
- The Provider considers complaints without undue delay and within 30 days of receipt, informing the User in the form matching the submission.
§ 9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
- Users who are consumers may use out-of-court means of dispute resolution, including the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (Regulation (EU) No 524/2013).
- Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the common court having local and subject-matter jurisdiction under Polish civil procedure law.
§ 10. Personal data
The processing of Users' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is governed by the Cookies Policy.
§ 11. Changes to the Terms
- The Provider reserves the right to amend the Terms in case of changes in law, the scope of services or the technical conditions of their provision.
- Users will be informed of changes through a notice in the Service published at least seven days before the changes take effect.
- Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended version.
§ 12. Final provisions
- Matters not regulated herein are governed by the EUSA, the Polish Civil Code, the Copyright Act, the GDPR and the KEP Decree.
- The Terms are made available free of charge at /regulamin in a manner enabling download, retention and printing.
- The Terms enter into force on the date of publication in the Service.
